Crispy Tofu

 

SHOPPING LIST:

 

1 block firm tofu, drained and squeezed, cut into 1cm rectangles

Tamari or soy sauce

2 tbsp soy or coconut flour

1 tsp ginger powder

1tsp garlic powder

1tsp onion powder

¼ tsp salt


 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Put the tofu chunks into a tub with a lid. Dowse the tofu in the tamari/soy sauce. Put the lid on and shake gently. Leave for approx 10 minutes, turning the box upside down after five minutes.

 

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.

 

Once the tofu is marinated, take each chunk and roll it in the flour mixture to cover it.

 

Fire up the airfryer to 180c and set the timer for 16 minutes. Add some coconut oil.

Let it heat for a minute or two. You can also fry them in a pan or wok.

 

Add the tofu. Cook and shake intermittently to allow chunks to crisp up.
